Halloween, just a month away, brings crisp air, creepy crawlies and the chance to air your closet of its skeletons-or just dress like one. On Oct. 29 at 5 p.m. Public Dreams and The Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret transform an East Side neighbourhood with dancers, musicians, ghouls, ghosts, installation art, street performers. Starting from a secret location, the guided walk travels through alleys, streets and other spaces brought to life by a collective group of artists, volunteers and residents. The location will be revealed on the day of the event at publicdreams.org. By donation. The annual Parade of Lost Souls kicks off with a workshop to make your own creations, costumes and shrines. Running from Oct. 18 to 23 at the Britannia Community Centre. By donation. The Oct. 29 parade culminates with a dance party from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the Maritime Labour Centre (1880 Triumph St.).
