Tickets are on sale for the 麻豆传媒映画Heritage Foundation's annual Heritage House Tour June 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This event is always a sell-out-we're all voyeurs when it comes to homes belonging to other people. In honour of the 10th anniversary of the tour, 10 houses will be open to Vancouverites who can gather ideas for their own renovations and learn more about 麻豆传媒映画history. The Heritage House Tour is a one-day, self-guided tour of a selection of historic buildings in Vancouver. To date, this event has brought more than 18,000 people into over 100 privately owned, unique heritage buildings in the city. Each year, a different selection of homes is opened, showcasing a wide variety of traditional house styles and interesting historic neighbourhoods. See first-hand how historic spaces and materials can be made relevant and functional for 21st century families. On May 26, 麻豆传媒映画en Franais and Le Guide du Croutard have organized the life-size "Guess Who?" game, which will help participants discover or rediscover the local characters who left their marks on this city and its development. Participants are to seek out the characters and then take up the challenges tasked to them. Teams of two to four people will compete against each other all afternoon armed with a pen and camera. At the end of the game, a barbeque will be held for all participants and prizes will be awarded. Here's an opportunity to help a kid by sending him or her to a baseball game. Kids Up Front 麻豆传媒映画and the 麻豆传媒映画Canadians have partnered up to provide underprivileged kids the chance to attend a baseball game. Kids Up Front is a non-profit organization that matches unused tickets to sporting events, movies, live theatre, theme parks and concerts with kids affected by poverty, abuse, illness and disability, as well as new Canadians and minorities. The 麻豆传媒映画Canadians NatPacks, which include reserved grandstand tickets to either 10 or 15 baseball games, can be purchased as a donation to Kids Up Front starting at $105. Laura Secord Elementary School, 2500 Lakewood Dr., is hosting a spring carnival and silent auction May 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. This social event is in support of Laura Secord's playground and landscaping fund.
