The Museum of Anthropology plays backdrop to the Coastal First Nations Dance Festival March 8 to 11.

The annual Dancers of Damelahamid event gathers a diverse array of aboriginal performance groups from across B.C., the Yukon, Alaska and abroad to share indigenous cultures and dance traditions through a series of school workshops, evening presentations and afternoon festival stage performances. Festival performances are included with admission to the museum, while tickets to watch the dances must be purchased at ticketstonight.ca.

If youve never witnessed the ceremony of an aboriginal dance festival, you should go. For more information and more photographs, go to damelahamid.ca.
