Volunteers for this year's BMO 麻豆传媒映画Marathon now have a chance to earn some cash for their efforts. The financial giant is offering a total of $10,000 to community groups who help put on the annual 42.2-km run, taking place this year May 5. Volunteer groups are eligible to win five awards of $2,000 each under the new program open to any club, society, charity, non-profit, school or association that is organized and operated without the purpose of making a profit. To be eligible, community groups must provide a minimum of 25 or more volunteers. The 麻豆传媒映画International Marathon Society, the non-profit organization responsible for the BMO 麻豆传媒映画Marathon, will select the winners. Check out bmovanmarathon.ca for more information.
