Parents and professionals can learn how to prevent and manage meltdowns and tantrums, strategies to teach verbal and nonverbal students and other tactics at a Social Skills Training Workshop for Kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder, April 19. Dr. Jed Baker, a clinical psychologist from the U.S., will lead the workshop. It runs 8 a.m. to 4: 45 p.m. at the Norman Rothstein Theatre, 950 West 41st Ave., at Oak Street.
