The name Goat Money comes from a fundraising effort by one of her students at a birthday party in 2010guests dropped pocket change into a jar that had a hand-drawn picture of a goat on it. The money was enough to buy a goat for the village. That effort evolved into the first Goat Money art auction in 2011.

Previews for the second-annual exhibition are scheduled from noon until 6 p.m., Nov. 7 and 8, while the silent auction runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Nov. 8.

Featured artists include Saul L. Miller, Robyn Lake, Jimmy Liang, Jonathan Erickson, Jan Little, Erica Wilk, Randy Grskovic, Jenny Long, Andy Dixon, Sarah Gee and Michelle Stoney.
