Did you know that aliens are running amok in Vancouver? From black squirrels to Japanese knotweed, many of the city's creatures and plants have migrated from other regions of the globe and kids are invited to learn about these introduced species at the Stanley Park Young Naturalists' annual Space Invaders event held at the Stanley Park Nature House on March 31, 10 a.m. to noon. Kids will weave baskets from native plants while helping restore biodiversity by recovering habitat from introduced invaders. The event is held for kids aged five to 14 years old with a parent.
