Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Coastal Health announced Thursday that first doses of the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines are now available for priority frontline workers ages 18 and up.
In a recent social media post made by the health authority, the frontline workers include employees at identified at-risk businesses, K-12 educational staff, first responders, child-care staff and grocery store workers. Eligible workers will receive information from their employers about how to register and then book an appointment using a unique access code.
This follows a similar announcement made by Fraser Health Thursday that all adult grocery store staff are now eligible to receive either the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine. Which kind of vaccine will be available to residents within Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Coastal Health was not specified.
