Three Loblaw-owned grocery stores in Metro 麻豆传媒映画are reporting additional staff coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, in some cases adding to already-reported cases among workers at those locations.
Loblaw, which is the parent company of major chains like Real Canadian Superstore, No Frills, and City Market, added new British Columbia store cases to its April 15, affecting the following stores:
- Real Canadian Superstore, 333 Seymour Blvd, North Vancouver: The last day the two infected team members worked was on April 1 and 6.
- Real Canadian Superstore, 4700 Kingsway #1105, Burnaby: The last day the two infected team members worked was on April 7 and 9.
- Park Royal City Market, 845 Park Royal North, West Vancouver: The last day the two infected team members worked was on April 10 and 12.
None of these stores are considered "public exposure" locations by 麻豆传媒映画Coastal Health or Fraser Health.
Currently, Loblaw lists 15 B.C. stores with employee COVID-19 cases; of those 15, 12 are in either 麻豆传媒映画Coastal Health or Fraser Health.
While T&T Supermarket is owned by Loblaw, the Canadian Asian grocery chain lists its COVID-19 cases separately . However, since reporting cases affecting two part-time workers in West 麻豆传媒映画and Surrey stores last week, the company has not had any new cases to report.
Sobeys, Inc, the parent company of Safeway, Thrifty Foods, and franchisor of discount grocery chain FreshCo, has not added any new B.C. store worker COVID-19 cases to its online tracker in the last 24 hours.
