Health authorities issue COVID-19 public exposure warning for Granville Street pub

The exposure notice applies to patrons who visited the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­pub on two recent nights.

Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­Coastal Health has issued a coronavirus (COVID-19) public exposure warning for a pub located in the Granville Entertainment District.

On its , the health authority lists a warning for  at the top of its current exposures.

The establishment is located at 1227 Granville Street in downtown Vancouver.

  • Potential exposure dates: Nov. 12-13
  • Potential exposure time: 6-11 p.m. both days

If you visited The Morrissey during the times of possible exposure, it does not mean you will develop COVID-19. The possible exposures are believed to be low risk but, out of an abundance of caution, Public Health asks anyone who may have visited the location listed on the specified dates and times to monitor themselves for symptoms and seek testing as warranted.

There is no known risk to anyone who attended any listed locations outside of the specified dates and times. If people remain healthy and do not develop symptoms, there is no need to self-isolate and people can continue with their usual daily activities. 

If you have been identified as a COVID-19 case or close contact, VCH Public Health will contact you directly and provide further instruction.

The Morrissey has not addressed the exposure notice on its website, or Facebook or Instagram pages.
