The Canucks could have kept Jared McCann squirming even longer than they did. McCann is sitting on nine games played heading into Monday's game against the Flyers.ÌýThe first year of his entry-level contract kicks in with game 10. They could have waited all day to send McCann back to Junior or, worse, made him a healthy scratch to put things off even longer.
