It’s time for “Stick in Link”, the feature where we just plug in a bunch of stuff written by others! Featuring a smattering of links from around the Smylosphere and beyond every Tuesday and Thursdayish. Warning: our links are so hyper, they change colour when exposed to heat. (Have something for us to share in the next edition? E-mail us at [email protected] or tweet us @passittobulis. Or tell us some other way. The point is: we'll probably link it if we know about it.)
- It’s over halfway through the season, and Vancouver’s mid-season report card is in. Some players are definite prodigies, while others *coughVirtanencough* might need to be held back a year… []
- Were you impressed by Nikita Tryamkin’s dominant physical game? I was. Chris Nash was. And so was Jason Botchford. Thing is, the big guy can skate too. Also, was the waved-off goal part of a grander conspiracy? I’m not going to say it was, but it definitely was. []
- Henrik is the present, but Bo Horvat is the future. Actually, he's also the present. Playing behind the Sedins has made Horvat the player he is, and watching them, he knows the pressure that is yet to come. Frankly, I can't think of a better mentor for Bo to have than Vancouver's captain. []
- We wrote about Anton Rodin recently. Derek Jory offers a more detailed insight into the nature of his injury and the reason for the uncertainty of his return date and eligibility to rejoin the lineup. If you wanna learn what the heck a bipartite patella is, this is an article for you. []

What happens when Henrik hits 1,000 points? He wants a . Let's make that happen, Canucks fans!
Learned yesterday that Henrik Sedin would think it's cool if did the viking clap (seriously). Would be cool way to salute 1k points
— Rob Williams (@RobTheHockeyGuy) - More Tryamkin coverage? My pleasure! Jeff Godley chats about the big man’s big game filled with bigger hits. []
- In “makes my heart sad” news, Alex Burrows is once again being highlighted as a possible trade deadline target. Say it ain't so! I wouldn’t be surprised if a contender like Montreal were to show interest in the gritty winger, but I agree with J.D. Burke here that Burrows is more likely to retire as a Canuck. []
- Interested in a postseason run this year? Improbable as it may have once seemed, Â鶹´«Ă˝Ół»is in the race (just barely.) But Rob Williams says Â鶹´«Ă˝Ół»isn’t going to do any damage with a feeble power play. I agree. And in order to get things going, the Sedins really need a trigger man. []
- Would you watch an NHL version of Friends? Check this video out and you tell me. (Is anyone friends with Brad Marchand though? Is that even possible?) []
- And finally, a brief shoutout to the fans in the Supporter’s Section for Tuesday’s game against the Predators. And this sign, the best. []
