It’s time for “Stick in Link”, the feature where we just plug in a bunch of stuff written by others! Featuring a smattering of links from around the Smylosphere and beyond every Tuesday and Thursday. Warning: our links are so hyper, they change colour when exposed to heat. (Have something for us to share in the next edition? E-mail us at [email protected] or tweet us @passittobulis. Or tell us some other way. The point is: we'll probably link it if we know about it.)

- The Canucks are in Columbus, which isn't normally a very exciting sentence, but John Tortorella coaches there now. As usual, he's new and improved. Now he's a better listener or something. []
- Only a crazy person would defend John Tortorella's time in Vancouver, right? Right? []
- 10 craaaaaaazy things Tortorella did while coaching the Canucks. []
- Tortorella briefly reunited with Daniel and Henrik Sedin, two pretty cool guys, in his opinion. Tortorella: "I had a chance to talk with Danny and Henrik in the building here today, which was just fantastic for me. I have so much respect for them and how much I leaned on them there and just a relationship. When you are gone from this (game) that is what you have, our relationships, and that is a relationship that I treasure and that I am going to keep whether I am in the game or not." []
- John Garrett gets Biblical on Bobby Farnham, who apparently violated "the code" with his antics after going after Jake Virtanen. "What goes around comes around and justice will prevail." []Ěý
- Fortunately, justice in 2015 is more social than physical, which means the injured Brandon Prust can still defend his teammates via a snarky tweet. []
- Jim Benning is planning a trip to go see Anton Rodin, the Â鶹´«Ă˝Ół»prospect turning heads over in his native Sweden.Ěý“We have scouts over there this week watching him,” Benning said. “I might try to get over there in early February. We still own his rights so we could sign him and bring him back if that’s what we decide.” But Benning knows it won't be that easy. Rodin isn't leaving the Swedish league to play in the minors. “I think if he comes over it is to play in the NHL,” Benning said. “He is not going to want to sign a contract at this stage to come and play in the American league. We have to make the determination first if he makes this team and where we think he is going to fit on our team. Once we make that determination then we’ll look into what his contract status is and go from there.” []
- But for now, Benning is scouting in North America. Here he is talking about Kyle Pettit just prior to seeing the draft pick in action. "“He’s a big boy, and he’s a good two-way player. He does a lot of the little things in the game to help your team win. He had a good camp for us. He needs to continue to work and improve on his physical game and strength. When that comes, he’ll play with more determination. He had a good camp, so I’m looking forward to seeing him tonight and seeing where he is at.” []
- Hunter Shinkaruk sure looks a lot more NHL-ready these days. []
- The Canucks show up twice on this list of the NHL saves of the week -- as the team getting robbed. []
- What does it mean to be a Â鶹´«Ă˝Ół»Canuck? What is this team's identity? []
- Hey, remember RunfortheCube, that totally weird Youtube channel that teaches you how to "pronounce" (read: comically mispronounce) the names of NHL players? The dude is still doing it. Here's how you say Brendan Gaunce.
