Itā€™s time for ā€œStick in Linkā€, the feature where we just plug in a bunch of stuff written by others! Featuring a smattering of links from around the Smylosphere and beyond every Tuesday and Thursday. Warning: our links are so hyper, they change colour when exposed to heat. (Have something for us to share in the next edition? E-mail us at [email protected] or tweet us @passittobulis. Or tell us some other way. The point is: we'll probably link it if we know about it.)

  • Justin Galo has some bones to pick with Willie Desjardins. What's the deal with Alex Burrows? What's the deal with Yannick Weber? And I have some bones to pick with the title of this article. "Top Three WTF"? You're plural country, friend. Top three WTFs, please. []
  • Brock Boeser has picked up his first hat trick in the NCAA. Naturally, people are excited about him. []
  • Daniel Sedin's miss the other night was pretty bad, but there have been worse misses in Canuck history. []
  • Derek Dorsett and Brandon Sutter each received a vote for "most underrated" on this NHL player's poll. Crazy. I didn't know Willie Desjardins was a player, or that he got two votes. []
  • Through six games, Bo Horvat has one measly point. Is this a concern? I'm gonna say not just yet, since that point is the team's only powerplay goal. That's a bigger issue, to my mind. []
  • Plus the Sedins are off to a sluggish start too. No surprise. They're an ancient, ancient 35 years old now. It takes a little longer to get going. []
  • I got on Brandon Prust's case a little last week for being slow. Turns out he's recovering from an ankle surgery. ā€œI was about three or four weeks behind and I kind of used the exhibition for conditioning and building and just kind of finding my rhythm,ā€ says Prust. ā€œI seem to have found it a bit and Iā€™ve just got to keep it going. The surgery kind of set me back more than we thought and thatā€™s why Iā€™m just starting to find my stride. It (ankle) was sore. I changed my skates and have a lot more cushion in the ankle. Itā€™s good now." []
  • The Canucks are 3-1-2. How much do we panic? Don't you dare say to stay calm, because I just put on my panic pants. They're water-resistant. []
  • Who are these Canucks? Do we know yet? What's going on? Where am I? []
  • Finally, as Sportsnet continues to inflict the "McDavid meets Messier" ad on us, Vancouverites continue to recut it. In this version, McDavid just ignores the call, as he should.Ģż
