Check out this sweet custom-built Canucks fire pit

There are a few ways the current Canucks have been compared to a fire. Tire fire, perhaps. Dumpster fire, maybe.

There are a few ways the current Canucks have been compared to a fire. Tire fire, perhaps. Dumpster fire, maybe. But what about the down-home, folksy comfort of a campfire?

When your team misses the playoffs two years in a row, you have a lot of hockey-less evenings to gather around the campfire. It’s understandable, then, that you’d want to have a nice fire pit to gather around.

Here’s the perfect thing: a gorgeous metal fire pit emblazoned with Canucks logos.

Canucks fire pit - unlit

This fire pit was and I reached out to the poster, Kyle, to find out more. It was made by a family friend, who makes custom fire pits using a computer-guided water jet cutting table. She cut out the Canucks orca and stick-in-rink logos using high-pressure water.

The fire pit cost $325, which seems like about the going rate for a custom-built fire pit of this nature from a quick perusal of the internet. And it’s a small price to pay for such a killer display of fan allegiance.

It looks even better when it gets lit up by some roaring flames.

This isn’t a big business for Kyle’s friend, but more of a hobby, so she wants to stay anonymous, so you’ll have to get your own computer-guided water jet table and make it yourself if you want your own Canucks fire pit.

But once you do, you’ll have a wonderful way to express your Canucks fandom and something Canucks-related that might be a lot more enjoyable to watch than actual Canucks games this season.
