Da Beauty League is typical summer beer league hockey, complete with a keg for a championship trophy. The only difference is that it .
Brock Boeser made his debut in Da Beauty League on Wednesday, skating for team Walser, and he made an impression, scoring two goals in a 6-5 loss. That in itself wouldn’t be too notable — goals are not hard to come by in Da Beauty League and Jordan Schroeder had a hattrick for the opposition — but his second goal of the night was, appropriately, a beauty.

Oh, that’s nice.
His first goal of the game was scored on a less exciting tip-in, but this is a lovely move: a quick little deke to the backhand before going back to the forehand and roofing the puck.
The assist on Boeser’s goal came from his University of North Dakota teammate, Shane Gersich. Boeser and Gersich played together on the top line at times with centre Tyson Jost, but Boeser frequently played down a line to give UND two strong scoring lines. Gersich ended up leading the team in goals and points with Jost and Boeser missing stretches of the season with injuries.
Boeser did well to corral the high saucer pass, then head in alone on the breakaway, where he pulled off his slick, yet familiar, move.
Way back in January 2016, we saw to win a game for UND over Colorado College. He picked up two assists in regulation in that game, extending a 13-game point streak.

Is anyone else excited to see those hands in action for the Canucks next season?
