We're three weeks into the New Year and it's time to ask yourself, are you sticking to those 2015 health & fitness resolutions? Remember, the ones you wrote before stuffing your face full every weekend in December while you poured the gravy with a heavy hand? (no pun intended). If you haven't gotten the medicine ball rolling yet, this week is the perfect time to start with #TightClub pop-up moving into 434 Columbia St. starting tomorrow.
Keighty Gallagher, the ambitious personal trainer, beer lover, and urban visionary behind is everyone's favourite reason to train and get tight. The entrepreneur based out of her Coach House in Strathcona is popping down to Chinatown from January 20-28 and scooping up keeners along the way to join her seriously hardcore but non-intimidating fitness program. She's here to inspire you to develop great habits, release endorphins and wake up energized.
The pop-up got announced only a few days ago and the evening classes are already full, but if you get a jump on it there are spots left in the morning and lunch time classes. With class names like Tight Fight, Tight Sweat, and Booty Luv, there's something for everyone. Check out the full schedule and .
Can't make it to the classes? There's plenty more happening over the 10 days that #TightClub takes over the space. The main event is a superstar collaboration between Tight Club and , presented by . It features the launch of two new specialty drinks; 0-100 a pre-workout juice, and The Catch Up a replenishing recovery drink (both an ode to this song). #WeGotTheJuice goes down on Thursday, January 22 and start with juice tastings at 28 W. 5th Ave. at 7pm, a 5KM run to Chinatown, and a celebration to cap it off with music and refreshments over at 434 Columbia St. This is probably your only chance this year to wear runners and a track suit to a party. Don't miss out.
On top of the  classes,#TightClub merchandise, and Thursday's event, there's also the TightClub Buy & Sell - full details on the athletic clothing & accessories consignment shop .
Check out this video to get you pumped for what's happening over the next ten days at 434 Columbia St...
