Right In Our Back Yard: Mount Seymour

While flowers are blooming in the city, the local mountains are still getting fresh snow almost daily. So I took advantage of this on a rainy Sunday afternoon, and once again, - this time it was "Maynus" (a Mazda 3) - and headed up to Mount Seymour for an afternoon of skiing.

Despite the rain at sea-level it was snowing on the mountain, and the fog/clouds created a dreamy blanket of white that made it feel like a chair lift was taking you straight to heaven, instead of the top of the mountain. It was a great day for snow, and just so you know, , allowing you to ride until the snow is gone (which will take a while, seeing as they got 100cm of snow in a week!).

Thanks to and for a wonderful Sunday!

Also, there is the best sign on the way up to Seymour!:
