Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»is filled with an unique mix of vibrant neighbourhoods. Each neighbourhood has its own exciting mix of emerging artists and businesses. To celebrate those creatives, The Chinatown Experiment presents: The Neighbourhood Collective. The Neighbourhood Collective is a Pop Up Shop running from September 17 until September 22nd.
We’ve invited some of our favourite TCE alumni back to the shop such as Yummus, Citizen Grace, and Hey Jude! All in all, there will be 19 different businesses and artists. Plus, we are pleased to have some new favorites joining us, like Chikum, Wild and Heart and Strathcona Stockings. You can expect to see artwork by the talented Tristan Casey, Janice Wu and Andy Grellman.
Yummus!
It was on September 22nd 2012 that The Chinatown Experiment first opened our doors for The Black Lodge Diner and we’ll be celebrating our one year anniversary at the Neighbourhood Collective Pop Up Shop. This past year we have featured over 30 pop up shops, art galleries and creative events.
Our mission is simple: to provide a space for anyone with an idea and the desire to bring it to life with the opportunity to make it happen. We do that by breaking down barriers to entry and fostering connections to help ideas grow.
No anniversary would feel right without a party. Thanks to the support of the good people at Cariboo Brewing, we invite you to join us on Friday, September 20th between 7Â-11pm to toast this milestone.
Citizen Grace!
Everyone is invited to come down, visit our shop to learn more about the great businesses and artists that are right in your own neighbourhood!
