A Vancouver-founded company that has helped countless businesses grow their branded content is entering an exciting new chapter.
Pressboard, launched in 2014 locally by Jerrid Grimm and Tiam Korki, offers metrics tools for understanding the impact of branded content. So it's no wonder a globally-recognized company like Impact.com took notice.
Impact.com announced March 15 they have acquired Pressboard, though the companies say business will carry on as usual, with a big boost for what Pressboard can do.
"This acquisition empowers us to add new features and integrations faster, and propel your business forward like never before," Pressboard tells its current and prospective clients on their website.
Pressboard is a remote-first company and has hubs in Vancouver, Toronto and New York.
Impact.com is a partnership management platform driving partnerships for more than 2,000 brands.
“Impact.com’s acquisition of Pressboard aligns with our mission to revolutionize and power the partnership economy. To succeed in this highly competitive landscape, publishers, brands, and agencies must be equipped with best-in-class technology to drive profitable revenue,” said David A. Yovanno, CEO of Impact.com in a media release about the acquisition. “The future of commerce is content-driven, and this acquisition allows for more publishers to meet the demands of today’s digital consumers with authentic experiences that deliver real results.”
“We are thrilled to combine forces with impact.com and continue to build the tools that allow publishers to partner with their advertisers and create powerful and engaging branded content programs for their audiences,” said Pressboard co-founder Grimm.
