I went and got a haircut at earlier this week. The only business in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»with an address in Shanghai Alley, Coup has been open since May and even though it's kinda tucked into a street you may never even knew existed it's kinda hard to miss if you're passing by on Pender. Here's a shot of Rosie, my new hairdresser, getting styled by Missy, one of the other two folks who work there...
The space is in a heritage building which was once a barber shop and the current buildout was constructed with recovered wood and recycled furniture. It's a cozy little spot just inside of Chinatown...
The Coup stylists are Rosie Zollinger, Missy Clarkson and Spencer Jensen and you can read all about them and the salon at . I would post a photo of the fantastic haircut that Rosie gave me but I'm not going to cross the line of vanity by sharing a self portrait showing how great I look... so you'll just have to take my word for it or visit Coup and see for yourself.
