Hey VIAindie fans... we made the cut into !!!
R3 is looking for The Best Canadian Music Website, and we're honored to be nominated and that you guys have been voting for us!
That being said, we're not the only ones from Vancouver/BC nominated, so we want to show off our competition.
There are FIVE days left to vote....
Today you get two websites for the price of one in our "The Local Competition" feature. First up:
is the ONLY Radio Station that was nominated in the Searchlight competition and it made it through into the Top 60!
Based in Victoria, can boast that it focuses on quality and diversity in its music programing, rather than just mass appeal (sounds similar to the station hosting the contest!) ...and according to its website, it is run by 200 volunteers!
Looks like we have some stiff competition on that basis alone... Congrats !

I love our friends over at ...they were just the other day! They feature and support many of the same artists that VIAindie loves; they do reviews, interviews and just send out general love to the BC music scene and its friends!
is just as full of support as their website, and for that we salute you !
