Local apparel distributor opened a Christmas pop-up earlier this month bringing together several聽Japanese apparel and footwear labels, plus a few local and international small gift items -聽rare brands聽not found in malls that stand out and make great gifts.

Shop owner聽Naomi Anju聽is the founder of Branches & Knots and has brought quality wears聽including rain boots from Wild Bird Society of Japan and Rubb, footwear from Regetta Canoe and Mizutori, JHA watches, and French accessories line聽Pylones. They've even brought a few apothecary goods聽from 麻豆传媒映画Island based Jody's Naturals which make perfect stocking stuffers.

If you're not from Kits, it can be easy to forget to visit the聽neighbourhood once the summer beach weather is over, but a stop over at聽the Branches & Knots pop-up should be on your list,聽no matter where you live in the city. Luckily, it's on the Broadway corridor at 3128 W. Broadway just west of聽Balaclava聽St. and tucked between Nuba and Mamalee - two of our favourite eateries in the neighbourhood.
