Less than a week after the Coquihalla was beat up by an atmospheric river, crews are on the scene removing debris and rebuilding sections of the highway, a process that may take months.
One of them, Kurtis Brown, has been capturing the early days on TikTok, sharing shots of activity along the notorious highway. That includes shots of when the waters were still flowing high and eroding pieces of the highway.
He also shares time-lapse videos of work going on. In one video he notes temporary bridges are arriving at one worksite.
