SURREY, B.C. — RCMP say the second homicide of the year in Surrey, B.C., appears targeted.
A statement from police says a man who has not been named was shot just before 1 a.m. Tuesday.
The victim was found dead at the scene as officers responded to reports of shots fired in the Whalley neighbourhood.
The statement says there are "no indications of a continued threat to the public."
Metro Vancouver's Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has joined the probe.
No other details are being provided and RCMP say any further information will be supplied by the integrated team.
