Four people were stabbed at a Kamloops house party late Saturday night.
Around 11:30 p.m., Kamloops RCMP were called to an apartment complex on Carson Crescent. One man, 59, was dead at the scene. A 58-year-old man and 62-year-old man are in the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and a 21-year-old man has non-life threatening injuries.
Later that night, around 1 a.m., a 43-year-old man was arrested related to the incident.
"The Kamloops Serious Crime Unit has taken over this case. We are at the early stage of this investigation and there is very little reliable information that we can provide to the public at this time," says Simon Pillay, RCMP Kamloops Plainclothes Commander. "Based on our current understanding of this incident, there is no danger to the public. The alleged suspect and victims appear to have known each other."
