The owner of the pit bull that badly injured a greyhound in a has had his dog put down.
The step was taken after consulting with Capital Regional District bylaw staff.
The injured dog, Misha, had throat and chest injuries and is recovering after emergency surgery Sunday night. He was one of three leashed greyhounds being walked in Reynolds Park about 6:30 p.m. Sunday when the unleashed pit bull attacked.
