Bowen filmmaker Bob Turner branches out from Bowen in his latest short film: Herring Spawn! Serengeti of the Sea. Hornby Island, BC.
Turner heads to the near centre of the largest herring spawn on the west coast of North America. He chronicles a day picking through rocks and seaweed that are coated in millions of herring eggs and watching the wildlife that congregates to feed. The sight is nothing short of stunning.
