There were doodles and poodles, hounds and pugs, and doggos galore Sunday at Pet-a-Palooza in Yaletown. The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»neighbourhood really went to the dogs for an expo for man's best friend and the men and women (and kids!) who love them.
With dog races, vendor booths, and a ton of four-legged photo ops, there was much to see and celebrate on what was National Dog Day (August 26).

Pet-A-Palooza started in Victoria by co-founders of the Just Love Animals Society, Jordan Illingworth and Lonnie Powell. The event is a fundraiser for the Victoria-based society, which provides education and awareness on holistic animal care.
Incidentally, the organizers are also behind a new app that's like Tinder for people with pets. Paw right!
