Much like some of Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Regional Parks' sassy Facebook commenters, we too can't help but wonder what "extreme" activities bears might get up to: skateboarding? BMX biking?

Actually, it is quite serious, as Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Regional Parks explains: "Extreme bear activity means a bear that exhibits aggressive behaviour towards people."

There are also concerns the bear in question is the same one that killed a dog in the area.

Officials affirm those fears: "It does seem to be the same bear. The Conservation Officers will recommend a plan of action once they’ve fully assessed the situation."

Additionally, a bear alert remains in place for the Lynn Loop Trail.
